​Heute erscheint der letzte Beitrag der Comic-Serie. Ich habe mich während des ganzen Projekts immer darüber sehr gefreut. Deshalb drücke ich die Daumen hart, dass ich eine finanzielle Unterstützung für noch eine Phase bekomme. Im Herbst bekomme ich die Antwort der Förderagenturen. Weil natürlich habe ich in diesen etwa 40 Bilder in zehn Wochen kaum an der Oberfläche gekratzt – sorry, Anglizismus. Zu dieser zweiten Phase würde ich 2-3 Themen auswählen, und eine umfassender und detaillierter „Entdeckung“ machen, auch mit Vergleichungen zu kanadischen Orten. Ich halte euch auf den Laufenden. Falls Ihr Ideen dafür habt, gerne schreibt mich!

In den kommenden Monaten lege ich meinen ganzen Fokus auf meinen Graphic-Novel, und werde Bilder davon auf mein Instagram-Konto mitteilen. Vielleicht habt Ihr Lust, diese ab und zu anzuschauen.

Today brings the last post of the comic series. I have enjoyed very much working on this project. So I'm crossing my fingers hard that I'll get funding for another series. I should receive word from funding bodies about my applications in the fall.

Because, of course, in these 40 or so images over ten weeks, I've barely scratched the surface. My hope is that, next time around, I will study only 2-3 topics, and do a more comprehensive and detailed "discovery", including comparisons to Canadian neighbourhoods in which I have lived. I'll keep you posted. If you have ideas for a second phase, feel free to write me!
